Hello everyone, my name is Mic. I am a classically trained pianist that has played all over the world. I get my inspiration from the classical greats. The question really is, “How did you become a rock pianist?” That is a great question. I’ve been friends with a couple of members of the band for a few years they approached me with the idea and I thought it would be a fun way to spend my time when I wasn’t touring. I recently decided to take a break from playing classical piano in order to put all my efforts into Oakwood Response Drill.
A little more about me, I am currently single because travelling is hard on relationships. I enjoy outdoor activities like sports and I also enjoy painting in my garage.
The band says that I’m the token sexy bass girl, and I’m okay with that. I love wearing my high heels and short skirts. I am totally comfortable being the band’s sex symbol. I’ve been involved in other bands, but I haven’t felt like they would make it big the same way that I think Oakwood Response Drill will. I love the other band members and it is great hanging out with your friends and working at the same time.
During the days I work as a CPA, which is insanely boring. I have two Great Danes and one boyfriend. I also have a love of gardening and my apartment is filled with plants.
Hi friends! I’ve been playing the guitar since I was 8 years old. I learned on an acoustic and I switched over to electric guitar when I was 13. I use to sit in my room for house and play different types of music over and over again until I got the chords down perfectly.
For me, there is nothing better than playing in a band. I love the camaraderie and adventure that comes with it. There is something awesome about people coming together and making awesome music.
Richie says I need to add something more personal. I am married to my lovely wife of three years and we have a two year old daughter. Being a father is a lot of fun, but it’s also a lot of hard work!
I was the kid who was always tapping out rhythms on my desk with a pencil in school. I joined the middle school band and started using that tapping energy to play the drums. I was told I was a natural. I love to keep the beat.
Once I graduated high school I continued to play the drums all throughout college. I played in my University’s marching band. After I graduated from college, I got an “adult” job as a market researcher. That’s still what I do with my days, but my nights are dedicated to Oakwood Response Drill.
It’s me! Richie! I’m the super energetic front man for Oakwood Response Drill. I have been called a natural entertainer. I love to sing, I was in several professional choirs growing up. My parents also enrolled in voice lessons for years.
My favorite part of being the lead singer is being able to connect with the audience. I’m the kind of performer who really gets into the show.
I enjoy running in my spare time. I could run for hours, like I said I have tons of energy. I found the most energetic type of dog as well. Her name is Sheba and we run and run.
I am so excited about the future of Oakwood Response Drill. I know we’re going to make it big!
